This is a view of the pendulum's crutch. It has a screw adjustment. It is made from wood all-thread and two knurled nuts with the threads reamed out of one. The crutch pin piece is situated between two metal collars (with set screws). The pendulum and spring holder hang from a notch in a pendulum bridge and therefore do not have to be taken apart when the pendulum is removed from the clock.
