| Where can I purchase the hardware? |
Most RC hobby stores carry brass
and steel rods. Brass tubing should also be available there. You can also buy tubing and rods from modeltool.com The 5/32" brass tubing has a .014" wall. |
| Can other woods be used besides
baltic birch? |
You can use any wood you want too.
I use baltic birch laminated to limit expansion and contraction caused by humidity. Baltic birch is bought in one eighth and one sixteenth thickness and glued up to the desired dimension |
